Welcome to CUPE 2106 – Regional District of East Kootenay.
As you are now in a Union position, within 30 days of your employment, the Union’s Secretary / Treasurer will give you an application to join the Union and to authorize a pay deduction for union dues. The initiation fee is $2.00. Dues are 1.5% of regular wages (excluding overtime), are tax deductible, and are mandatory.
As a condition of employment, all persons employed in Union positions must become and remain members in good standing of the Union according to the Union’s constitution and bylaws.
